Maldivian Dream II

Para estar en el barco un mono cómodo y bonito de Urban Outfitters

¿Soy la única rara que tiene miedo a los tiburones?? Porque de los 20 que íbamos en el crucero, incluyendo varias chicas, yo era la única, los demás los buscaban!!!! Vimos puntas negras, puntas blancas, tiburón gris e incluso tiburón leopardo.

Am I the only freak who´s afraid of sharks? Because, of all the people on the ship, 20 including several girls, I was the only one, the rest of them were actually seeking them!!!! We saw black tipped, white tipped, grey sharks and even a leopard shark.

Además de todo tipo de flora y fauna en uno de los lugares mas paradisíacos del mundo.

Aside from all kinds of flora and fauna in one of the most paradisiac places on earth.

Para el viaje llevé una novela histórica ambientada en el maravilloso Antiguo Egipto de mi amigo, el piloto de Iberia Tony Cabanas, "El ladrón de tumbas".

For the trip I brought along a historical novel set in ancient Egypt and written by my friend and Iberia pilot Tony Cabanas, "The tombs thief".

A la vuelta  a Madrid teníamos 15 horas de escala en Doha, Qatar, y tuvimos la suerte de dar una vuelta por esta ciudad de la mano de nuestro amigo Manolo, piloto de Qatar Airways. 

Going back to Madrid we had a 15 hour stopover in Doha, Qatar, and we had the chance of visiting this city thanks to the kindness of our friend Manolo, a Qatar Airways' pilot.

Comimos en el maravilloso restaurante Burj Al Hamam en la prestigiosa zona de tiendas y restaurantes The Pearl. Tomamos unos entrantes típicos libaneses y un riquísimo pescado al horno, todo a un precio bastante razonable, unos 30-40 euros por persona.

We had lunch at the fantastic restaurant Burj Al Hamam in the prestigious area named The Pearl full of shops and restaurants. We had some typical lebanese starters and a tasty grilled fish all at a very reasonable price, about 30-40 euros per person.

  

Me encantan los pastelitos arabes de miel y frutos secos.

I specially love the typical arabian pastries of honey and nuts.

Y si vais a Doha no os perdais su zoco, un poco del sabor auténtico de la ciudad restaurantes con mucho encanto y buenas compras.

And if you ever go to Doha, don't miss its zouk, full of charming restaurants and great shopping.

Maldivian Dream I

De vuelta de unas vacaciones de ensueño en Maldivas, en un vida a bordo del maravilloso barco de buceo, Maldivian Dream.

Back from dream holidays in the Maldives on a wonderful liveaboard scuba diving boat called Maldivian Dream.

Muerta despues de 14 horas de viaje. Me cambié de ropa en el avión porque en Madrid hacía un frío pelón! Llevo camisola regalo de mi querida Cristina Andreu de Renatta&Go, leggins de American Eagle Outfitters, gafas Calvin Klein  y zapatillas de Levi's.

Half dead after 14 hours traveling. I changed in the plane as in Madrid it was freezing cold. I'm wearing a grey camisole gifted by my dear friend Cristina Andreu from Renatta&Go, leggings from American Eagle Outfitters, Calvin Klein sunnies and Levi's tennis shoes.

The Maldives are composed of nearly 1.200 paradise islands in the Indian Ocean and it is among the best places in the world for scuba diving.

Buceamos con el majestuoso Tiburón Ballena.
We could dive with majestic Whale Shark. 

Y pudimos disfrutar del mágico vals de las Mantas.
And could enjoy the magic waltz of Mantas.

Y después de tanta inmersión, paseíto por playas paradisíacas. Con parte de la tripulación, llevo bikini de Amelia Botero.

And after the dives, nice walks around those marvellous beaches. With some crew members, I'm wearing Amelia Botero's bikini.

Grand Canyon

      Me voy de viaje, estaré en un barco, pero espero poder colgar alguna fotito. Mientras tanto os dejo unas fotitos del maravilloso viaje que hicimos este año 2013 a Vail, los parques nacionales de Estatdos Unidos de Arches, Needles y el Gran cañón. Me parece apropiado para estas fechas y por entonces todavía no tenía el blog. Espero que os gusten!!!

      I'm going out for a wonderful trip, on a ship, I hope I'll be able to post a few pics. Meanwhile I leave you some pics from last year's fantastic trip we made to Vail and American National Parks, Arches, Needles and Grand Canyon. I think they are appropiate for the time beeing and I didn't have the blog by then. Hope you like them!!

      Y terminamos nuestro road-trip en Las Vegas con la visita obligada a todos los hoteles del `strip´ incluyendo el Venetian y el Bellagio.

      And we finished our road-trip visiting Las Vegas and its hotels like Venetian and Bellagio.

Happy New Year!!!

    Hemos pasado estos días esquiando en Formigal, una buena forma de despedir el año. La noche del 31 estuvimos  bailando al aire libre en el Marchika un bar apres-ski a pie de pistas. Cenamos y tomamos las uvas en el restaurante Koldo y a la mañana siguiente inauguramos el año disfrutando de la naturaleza, la belleza de la nieve y el deporte.

     Os deseo un 2014 lleno de aventuras, de felicidad, amor, amistad y mucha salud!!!

We have spent these days skiing in Formigal, a great way to farewell the year. The night of the 31st we were dancing at Marchika an apres-ski bar in open air right down the slopes. We had dinner and ate the traditional grapes at Koldo restaurant and the first morning of the year we enjoyed nature, the beauty of the snow and the sport.

     I wish you a 2014 full of adventures, hapiness, love, friendship and health!!!
