¿Soy la única rara que tiene miedo a los tiburones?? Porque de los 20 que íbamos en el crucero, incluyendo varias chicas, yo era la única, los demás los buscaban!!!! Vimos puntas negras, puntas blancas, tiburón gris e incluso tiburón leopardo.

Am I the only freak who´s afraid of sharks? Because, of all the people on the ship, 20 including several girls, I was the only one, the rest of them were actually seeking them!!!! We saw black tipped, white tipped, grey sharks and even a leopard shark.

Para el viaje llevé una novela histórica ambientada en el maravilloso Antiguo Egipto de mi amigo, el piloto de Iberia Tony Cabanas, "El ladrón de tumbas".

For the trip I brought along a historical novel set in ancient Egypt and written by my friend and Iberia pilot Tony Cabanas, "The tombs thief".

A la vuelta  a Madrid teníamos 15 horas de escala en Doha, Qatar, y tuvimos la suerte de dar una vuelta por esta ciudad de la mano de nuestro amigo Manolo, piloto de Qatar Airways. 

Going back to Madrid we had a 15 hour stopover in Doha, Qatar, and we had the chance of visiting this city thanks to the kindness of our friend Manolo, a Qatar Airways' pilot.

Comimos en el maravilloso restaurante Burj Al Hamam en la prestigiosa zona de tiendas y restaurantes The Pearl. Tomamos unos entrantes típicos libaneses y un riquísimo pescado al horno, todo a un precio bastante razonable, unos 30-40 euros por persona.

We had lunch at the fantastic restaurant Burj Al Hamam in the prestigious area named The Pearl full of shops and restaurants. We had some typical lebanese starters and a tasty grilled fish all at a very reasonable price, about 30-40 euros per person.

  

Me encantan los pastelitos arabes de miel y frutos secos.

I specially love the typical arabian pastries of honey and nuts.

Y si vais a Doha no os perdais su zoco, un poco del sabor auténtico de la ciudad restaurantes con mucho encanto y buenas compras.

And if you ever go to Doha, don't miss its zouk, full of charming restaurants and great shopping.

      He salido con amigos por el centro de Madrid, la zona de Conde Duque. Donde se pueden encontrar locales muy agradables para comer algo, tomar un mojito, o como en mi caso un te calentito porque las noches empiezan a ser fresquitas.

      Night out with friends in the center of Madrid, in the area of Conde Duque. You can find very cool places to eat something, drink a mojito, or like me a hot tea as the nights here start to be a little chilly.

      Me encanta este sombrerito. Me volví loca el año pasado buscándolo, finalmente lo compré por internet en Choies, lo enviaron desde China, y este año.... lo tienen en Zara!!!

      I love this hat, I got crazy last year looking for it and finally bought it through the internet in Choies, they sent it to me from China, and this year you can find it...... at Zara!!!

      La camisa es de Forever 21, la pulsera azul de titanio es de Joaquín Berao y la negra de cuero de Prüne, la compré en Buenos Aires.

      The shirt is from Forever 21. The blue titanium bracelet is from spanish designer Joaquin Berao, and the black leather one is from Prüne, I bought it in Buenos Aires.

Promenade á Paris

      Ayer estuve en Paris. Adoro esta ciudad, he ido a menudo y el francés es el primer idioma que aprendí porque me fascinaba su cultura. Esta semana ha sido la Semana de la Moda y aunque no tuve la oportunidad de ir a ningún desfile, estuve en la exposición de Azzedine Alaia en el Palais Galliera, el Museo de la Moda. Este palacete es un reducto decadente y maravilloso que incluyo en mis direcciones favoritas. Recuerdo hace años, una fascinante exposición dedicada a Marlene Dietrich con objetos personales, sus cremas, perfumes, sombreros, guantes, sofisticados trajes y fotografías. La actriz pasó sus últimos años viviendo en un palacete cercano a este museo.

      Yesterday I was in Paris. I adore this city, I visit it often and french is the first language I learned because I was fascinated by its culture. This was Paris Fashion Week and though I didn't have the chance of attending any  show I went to  the Azzedine Alaia exhibition at Palais Galliera, a magic place whith fantastic exhibitions like the one dedicated to Marlene Dietrich, a few years ago. She spent her last years living in a villa nearby the Galliera Museum.

      La exposición de Alaia es absolutamente recomendable, una colección de vestidos magistrales, con unos cortes inesperados, geniales que moldean el cuerpo femenino arquitectónicamente. Auténticas obras de arte. Estaba prohibido hacer fotografías .... y fuí buena. Sorry!

     I definitely recommend the Alaia exhibition, a colection of masterpieces with unexpected genius cuts that shape the feminine body in an architectural mastered way. Real artworks. It was forbiden to make pictures .... and I behaved. Perdon!
