Hace años que procuro utilizar productos sin parabenos ni elementos artificiales y dañinos, con los ingredientes lo mas naturales posible por eso me gusta la cosmética natural. Marcas como Dr. Hauschka, Weleda y especialmente Josie Maran y Korres. Pero no me resisto a algún producto de Mac y de una marca que está muy bien de precio y que ha eliminado los parabenos de la mayoría de sus fórmulas, KIKO. Compro mucho cosmética en Estados Unidos, viajo allí a menudo, por trabajo y para visitar a mi hermano y su familia. Me encanta la tienda de Mac en Times Square en Nueva York, son encantadores, te prueban todos los productos y la mayoría habla español. La marca Josie Maran fue creada por la top model del mismo nombre. Ella adoraba la cosmética natural pero no encontraba colores modernos y atractivos. La marca E.l.f. tiene productos muy asequibles y bastante buenos.
For years now I've used natural cosmetics, products without parabens or other artificial and harmful elements, and with ingredients as natural as possible. Brands like Dr. Hauschka, Weleda and specially Josie Maran and Korres. But i can't resist to some products from Mac and Kiko, a very affordable brand and that also avoids parabens. I buy many cosmetics in the United States where I travel often for my job and also to visit my brother and his family. I love Mac Store in Times Square in NY they are lovely and would kindly try and show you all the products. I also love Josie Maran Cosmetics, this top model adored natural cosmetics but couldn't find fancy and attractive colors so she created her own brand. E.l.f. is a very affordable brand with very nice products.
Como base de maquillaje utilizo la Studio Tech de Mac porque es supercómoda, incluye espejo y esponjita para aplicarla, aunque en Mac se ponen como locos si no aplicas el maquillaje con brocha. En un rango mas baratito me gusta mucho la Full Protection Stick Foundation de KIKO, maquillaje en barra con proteccion solar SPF 15, fundamental para conservar una buena piel. Y en verano me encanta utilizar el Argan Matchmaker de Josie Maran, una crema blanca en principio, que en contacto con la piel mimetiza y deja un color uniforme y muy natural, además de aportar todas las propiedades del aceite de argán.
For make up I use Studio Tech from Mac, very comfortable and easy to use includes a mirror and a sponge, though at Mac stores always advise to apply it with a brush. In a more affordable range I like Full Protection Stick Foundation from KIKO with sun protection SPF 15, very important to maintain a beautiful and healthy skin. And for summer I adore the Argan Matchmaker from Josie Maran, a white cream that matches the skin tone when applied on the face, leaving a uniform and natural color with all the goodness of argan oil.
Para colorete utilizo el Tender Blush de Estee Lauder, como veis tiene un degradado a clarito que cuando viajo utilizo como iluminador si no quiero llevar tantos 'potingues'. Kiko tiene uno muy parecido que además incluye el terracota para efecto sol y correcciones, el Sun Bronzing Blush en el color Brick Mandarin. Como corrector y polvos de sol os recomiendo el Give me Sun Mineralize Skinfinish Natural de Mac, y mas natural y con un toque de la maravillosa flor de tahití el Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder de Korres.
For the cheeks I use the Tender Blush from Estee Lauder, it has different shades and the lighter works great as a highlighter. Kiko has a similar one with also a terracota color to add a sun effect, it's the Sun Bronzing Blush in Brick Mandarin. As corrector I recommend you Give me sun Mineralize Skinfinish Natural from Mac, and more natural and with the fabulous touch of the tahitian flower, Monoi Oil Bronzing powder from Korres.
En cuanto a barras de labios, las que mas utilizo son el color Patisserie de Mac y su clon en Kiko el 917. Un rojo increíble que va muy bien a mi tono de piel es el Precious 39 Rouge Allure de Chanel, y en un tono mas granate, el Shiraz de una marca de cosmética natural canadiense que se llama Bite Beauty.
For lipsticks, I use the color Patisserie from Mac and the clone from KIKO the number 917. An incredible red that matches wonderfully with my skin tone is Precious 39 Rouge Allure from Chanel, and a more burgundy color is the Shiraz from a natural cosmetic brand from Canada named Bite Beauty.
Otro producto fetiche de Josie Maran es el aceite de argan para el pelo, Argan oil Hair Serum, domestica los cabellos que se desmadran y da un brillo y una textura increible al peinado, pero hay que aplicar muy poca cantidad para no engrasar. Como iluminador utilizo el Soft and Gentle de la linea Mineralize de Mac. Y mi máscara de pestañas es, sin duda siempre, la Pro Vitamin B5 & Rice Bran Mascara de Korres en 01 Negro. Además de aportar una serie de ingredientes naturales que fortalecen, alargan y nutren las pestañas, deja un resultado espectacular y desmaquilla increíblemente bien, no me deja el odioso aspecto de mapache.
Another fetish product is the Argan Oil Hair Serum from Josie Maran, great for taming and brightening, but use only a bit for not oiling hair in excess. For highlights I use Soft and Gentle Mineralize from Mac. And my mascara, the one and only, is Pro Vitamin B5 & Rice Bran Mascara from Korres in 01 Black. Apart from adding some wonderful natural ingredients that strengthen and nurture eyelashes, it looks spectacular and it is really easy to remove without leaving that awful racoon look.
Los lápices de mi neceser son de Mac para las cejas en un color sorprendentemente claro, se llama Fling, pero me encanta como me queda. Para labios de Josie Maran, el color Natural. Y para los ojos de E.l.f. Perfilador Mineral en formato automático como el de Mac, que me resulta comodísimo. Se difumina fenomenal, no hay que sacarle punta y me permite bastante precisión. El color que siempre utilizo es Negro.
The pencils in my beauty case are from Mac for the eyebrows in a surprisingly light color, Fling, but I adore the results. For the lips Josie Maran in natural, and for the eyes E.l.f. Mineral in Black, very easy to use and to shade.
Sombras de ojos, en crema de Mac el Paint Pot color Constructivist, y este precioso set de Josie Maran en color Beautiful Purples. El color crema irisado de abajo a la derecha sirve perfectamente como iluminador en la parte superior de los pómulos y el puente de la nariz. El marrón oscuro del centro lo utilizo sobre la raya negra para fijarla y difuminarla.
Eyeshadows in cream from Mac the Paint Pot in Constructivist, and this beautiful set from Josie Maran in Beautiful Purples color. The lighter cream frosty color works perfectly as a highlighter applied in the cheeks and on the nose. The dark brown in the centre i use it on the black eyeliner to fix it and fade it slightly.
